MOVIE EXTRAS FRIDAY, MARCH 5TH

"Heaven's Rain" Needs Extras in McAlester, OK

The feature film 'HEAVEN'S RAIN" needs additonal hard-looking men of all ethnicities to appear as Prison Inmates on Friday, March 5 in McAlester, OK.

The extras will appear inside the prison gates in scenes with the lead actors in the film. The film needs 10 more extras to appear as the inmates.

Call time be at least afternoon and perhaps evening. It doesn't pay, but you would be in scenes with Mike Vogel ("Cloverfield", "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants") and Erin Chambers ("Days of Our Lives", "Stargate Atlantis"). Paul Brown ("The X Files", "Quantum Leap") is directing.

FREE IRISH DANCE LESSON!!!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, and in celebration of their two year anniversary, Oklahoma Academy of Irish Dance will be offering two free Irish dance classes! These classes are open to students ages 5 to adult with little or no Irish dance experience. Attendees will learn basic Irish Jig steps as well as an Irish folk or "ceili" dance.The first lesson will be held at DMC Dance in Midwest City on Friday, March 12th at 5:00 pm. A second one will be offered at NW Optimist Center in OKC on Saturday, March 13th at 10:00 am. Students are welcome to attend one or both of the classes. Those attending should wear comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle. Dance shoes are not required, but ballet slippers or jazz shoes may be worn if desired. Those wishing to participate should reserve a spot by calling Chelsea at (405) 420-1064 or sending an e-mail to irishdanceok@yahoo.com.

Profile Demo Videos

You can now have a Profile Video professionally produced to include in your presentation package. Producers and directors like to hire talent they can enjoy working with. A candid interview gives producers a look at your personality and interests.

Kent Jones, veteran radio personality for more than 30 years, interviews you in a friendly, informal atmosphere and captures it all on camera. The footage is edited into a concise package that highlights your personality and brings life to your presentation. Actual footage from your on-camera work can also be integrated to make a complete profile package. Titles, headshots and contact information can be included as desired. The ideal length of a Profile Video is between 2 and 3 minutes.

Your interview will be shot on a working set like the one in the example. You will have the opportunity to view the rough cut before the production is finalized. The finished product will be delivered to you on DVD within two weeks. You are free to make as many copies as you desire to send to producers, directors, agents, etc.

Kent also offers professional quality duplications, label design, packaging, and shrink wrap for additional cost depending on the order. Total cost for the shoot, production, and DVD master is $595.
