If you are you are an
experienced professional on-camera or voice actor, or are interested in becoming
a professional and are agency hunting, here is a summary of who we are and
what we do!
Firstly, MAGNA is a talent
agency, we are not a casting agency. We work
to provide talent for casting agencies and clients. We are a booking agency.
MAGNA does not sell any classes, programs, or services. We do not receive any compensation or
kickbacks from casting agencies. MAGNA's only income is commissions from jobs we
book for you. For our services, whenever a MAGNA actor is cast in a
paying job that MAGNA has initiated, we charge a 15% commission from the agreed upon rate
for that particular job. We do not charge any sign-up or administration fees, nor
do we require anyone to take classes, workshops, seminars, etc. in order to qualify
for auditions or jobs. We are not a school. If you are new to on-camera acting, you
will need to take workshops or classes in auditioning for the camera and commercial
acting in order to learn how to work with a camera before being represented by
MAGNA. We always
encourage continual learning in pursuit of your craft, and will be happy to share with you
any
information we have as to available programs in the area.
Secondly, all jobs are performed on a contract labor basis only.
Whenever we call you for a role or an audition, you are free to accept or decline as you
wish with no repercussion. When you accept a job, you are verbally contracting with us to
perform that particular job with stated terms and conditions. We will then expect you to
honor this verbal contract by being on time, prepared, cooperative and professional for
the duration of the job as a representative of MAGNA TALENT AGENCY. When auditioning or
reporting for any jobs that we have called you for, please sign in with MAGNA as your
agent. We will handle all client billing for any services we have procured on your behalf,
and will be responsible for payment to you within 7 business days of receipt to our
office. Please be advised that payment for all jobs may take anywhere from 30 to 90+ days
to receive. Please also realize that at no time is MAGNA TALENT AGENCY your employer, nor
will we be responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries suffered during the
performance of any contract. If you have any problems during a job, we request that you
call us immediately, so that we may come to your aid in resolving the issue.
Lastly, we want you to know who we are and what we stand for. MadLust
Productions Inc., named for partners Margie Madden & Peggy Luster, has
been doing business in Oklahoma since January 1991. We present the WHODUNIT DINING ROOM
mysteries in Oklahoma City and do
private location and custom performances statewide. For more info check out our

been in operation since August 1996 and has been growing ever since. Feeling that it was
ready for its own identity, the agency was given the name MAGNA TALENT in April 1999. We
have worked very hard to achieve a reputation for doing business honestly and fairly at
all times. We give you our promise that we will always work with you on that basis and
hope that you will treat us likewise.
